You may be interested to know a little about
me. I was an early California transplant, moving to Seattle in 1975 from the LA area. Born in Los Angeles, I grew up in the mid-1950's in Claremont, California (hometown of Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals). My family moved to Newport Beach in the 1970's and I moved to the Pacific Northwest—first to Portland in 1972, and then Seattle in 1975. I graduated from the University of Washington in 1977, and worked from 1973 through 1982 as a housing counselor for senior citizens in non-profit agencies. I am active in the Mt. Baker Community Club (one of America's oldest continuous neighborhood associations) and have lived in this central Seattle neighborhood since 1981.
